Ever had a completely out of body experience?
When I was notified to say Artchatter was nominated for The Women's Business Awards 2025 I was shocked. When we made the shortlist I was pleasantly surprised... when we came second (or runner up) I was stunned. The whole experience was unexpected and super lovely - both Karen and I are tickled and incredibly proud. (It was an education podcast that took first place).
Artists are often solitary creatures, stepping out occassionally to share their work. With this in mind in 2021 the artchatter podcast was born - a collaboration with fellow UK artist, Karen George.
Since then the community of listeners has grown, many are artists, but we do have many art lovers (rather than creators) too. We share insights into life as an artist, support each other, groan and laugh over the mistakes we make and celebrate the wins together.
We’re very different, but we have core values and loves…the main one being art!
Karen also lives in the south west of England and founded Cam Valley Arts Trail.
