Welcome to my world, as an artist based in south west of England, I'm all about exploring and expressing emotion through colour, usually inspired by the landscape here, but actually wherever I go.
Art: viewing it, making it, thinking about it-it’s what helps me breathe. To transfer the love of colour to a space that allows others to feel even a fraction of that is an absolute joy. Currently focussed on painting contemporary emotional landscapes in both oil paint and mixed media, I'm enjoying my deep exploration of colours and their significance to everyone (see my blog post for more).
My work is sold across the world, as far as Australia and the USA. Shown at the Affordable Art Fair in London and Saatchi's The Other Art Fair.
In 2021 I started the artchatter podcast with fellow artist Karen George. We recognised our weekly accountability calls could be helpful for artists who don’t always have a chance to connect. It's gained quite the following and is a friendly voice for a bit of studio company.
As I get older, I'm becoming more ambitious and intend to paint, and share my work, forever.

I work from my garden studio in the beautiful county of Wiltshire, South West England.
Having worked with oil paints for years, I have been experimenting with acrylic and mixed media which gives me a flexibility in my practice.
Although I only take on a couple of commissions in any given year, please do talk to me if you think you may want something painted just for you.
When I'm not painting I co-host the artchatter podcast with fellow West Country artist, Karen George.
We have been sharing the ups and downs of life in our studios in 2021 - find us anywhere you listen to podcasts.
